“ Three of us were in Oaxaca for 7 days. The food everywhere was exceptional. We went to 2 Michelin starred establishments. All things considered La Toscana was our favourite restaurant. The neighbourhood vibe was very cool and the restaurant has spacious open atmosphere while still feeling cozy at the table. We shared the Toscana Salad, Sea Bass (robalo) Catch of the day, Flank steak and a lovely bottle of wine. It was all delicious and generous. The service was perfect. No room for desert but what we saw looked amazing. We will always dine here when we return to Oaxaca. ”

After walking past it several times over the past few weeks, we finally decided to stop—and we’re so glad we did. From start to finish, the service was warm and attentive. More importantly, the food truly delivered. The lasagna bolognese was rich and flavorful, the margherita pizza was tasty, and the house wine was great for the price—generous pours, too. Prices were more than fair given the quality of the food and the overall experience. If you’re craving Italian while in Oaxaca, this spot is absolutely worth a visit. ”
